AUDITION INFORMATION
All Audition Sites are treated equally in regards to being offered a position with Forte in 2010.
Some quick points:
Dallas and Houston are the primary audition sites, but students auditioning in Virginia, Georgia, South Dakota, and Ohio will all have equal chances to earn a spot as well as those auditioning via VideoTape
All Students who audition in Texas, South Dakota, or Georgia (possibly depending on recruit's location) will need to make plans to attend all Texas Camps from Jan - May)
All Students who audition in Virginia or Ohio will have the chance to attend more localized rehearsals for Jan, Feb, March and May. Auditionees from these locations will need to plan to attend the April Camp in Texas.
All Students from all locations will be required to move-in to DFW area starting in Mid-early June for Everydays
Ratings will be given out at all audition locations
Contracts will be offered starting at the January Camp. This includes the local rehearsals in VA and OH

We will also be hosting some students from Florence MS for a special Clinic from 3-6pm.

This is a Full Audition & Rehearsal for all sections. Individual auditions may be video taped for viewing of full staff.
**This site will also be the host to January, February, March and May rehearsals. Students auditioning at this site will be required to attend the Dallas, TX camp in April and then report to Texas for summer move-ins. All paperwork and dues may be turned in at these camps. Contracts will be offered starting in January. Drum Major Candidates may audition at this location and will be videotaped (Candidate may be asked to attend the February Texas Camp in addition to April). Battery Percussion candidates will be required to submit a video biweekly to the Caption Head in order to be offered and to obtain a position in the Battery Percussion section.**
***Students need to bring their own instruments for the audition and camps at this location. If you need an instrument provided for you, please contact director@fortecorps.org at least 3 days prior to camp. Battery Auditionees should bring a Snare drum.***

Registration at ALL Rehearsals begins at 9:00am
If you have a conflict with a rehearsal, please contact your CAPTION HEAD asap. A Video can be submitted in place of attendance for school & band related conflicts. All Fees and paperwork will still need to be mailed into the main office.
Once you have auditioned, you will be given a CorpsData account. Please RSVP for each rehearsal no later than 1 week prior so that preparations can be made. New Auditionees will be given a CorpsData account within a week of their first audition.

Contracts are offered at all rehearsals until spots are filled. Alternative spots may be assigned.
